A dark night, candles the only light in deep shadows of the rooms outside the main masquerade in the palace ballroom, perfect cover for a little escapade between a naughty prince(Keigo) and his pirate lover (Touya)! The thrill and danger make it all the better!
Out on the ocean near their private island, a rich family hosts their holiday masquerade party on their boat. The middle child, Touya, stands off to the side sipping champagne, grimacing at the taste and moving to dump it into the water when he sees a flash of red and gold below. Mer were uncommon in this area, so seeing the water look back was a shock. That and the piercing golden gaze he was met with. He was mesmerized.
Keigo Takami prides himself on being a ladies' man. So what happens when he can't stop staring at a certain silvery haired guy at the masquerade party taking place at a local bar? Only time and liquor will tell.

DabiHawks accidental mating au. Omegaverse. Dabi has never wanted a mate and Keigo has never had the best luck when no one has wanted the Alpha behind the Hero. Dabi is disgusted by his Hero Career and Keigo is sick of his physique being pawed at or drooled over, which leaves nothing Dabi could possibly want from him.

Hawks continues to attend the hero’s masquerade long after Touya had passed. But as of recent someone or something watches him from beyond the veil.
Dabi has spent years watching Hawks dance at the masquerade to the songs he plays with his violin. Every year a different partner. Every year someone that isn’t him.
Touya and Hawks talk on the balcony of a gala, fed up of the gaudy hero events and needing to be away from the hustle and bustle. They intended to be along, but it’s nicer to be alone together.
